Our William Morris pimpernel green oven gloves are made from 100% cotton cloth which has been printed, quilted and manufactured in the UK.
The fabric is sent to be quilted in the north of England.
The fabric is quilted either side of 10oz needle poly wadding for the main body of the oven glove.
The back of the hand is quilted with a 2oz coravin so it protects the back of the hand if it glances the heat.
We send our fabric to a bias binding manufacturer who makes it into a bias cut length of fabric.
The back of the hand and the main body of the oven glove are sewn to together.
We then bind the oven gloves in the same fabric.
