The garden was so empty and during a lunch time reading about abandoned rabbits I noticed two young male rabbits (who were different enough not to remind me of Caramel). Both of the boys are Lionhead rabbits. The bunnies had been taken by the RSPCA from a home where 16 baby rabbits were living in one hutch.
Hiding in the box when they first arrived home!
I had loved and cared for Caramel for 10 1/2 years and thought myself to be a good rabbit mum! I was very nervous when our home and garden was visited by the representative from the animal sanctury to ensure we would give the young male rabbits a good home. Thankfully we passed! A few days later we brought the boys home. Now what to call them? We wanted proper boys’ names and settled on Edward and William or to give them their full names, Edward Burne Jones and William Morris
