Standen in West Sussex is the most beautiful Arts and Crafts House.
Run by the National Trust since the early 1970’s the house is a most wonderful place to visit.
Upon entering the house through the porch, it is clear how well the house as been preserved, you almost expect members of the Beale family to walk into the room even today!

The hall and staircase, the original stair carpet was bought from Morris & Co in 1906 but had to be replaced as it was too fragile to use.
