Compton was originally commissioned for Mr Lawrence Hodson's Compton Hall, Wolverhampton in which William Morris was redesigning the interior in 1896. This was the last print Morris saw designed before his death that same year.
The apron is 100% Cotton Drill which has been printed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, just like all our products.
This Drill apron is 61cm wide by 76cm Long and has natural cotton ties. Each waist tie is 53cm long.
As with all our products, our Compton apron has been printed, pvc coated and manufactured in the United Kingdom. Complete the set: other items are available in Compton including tea towels, tablecloths and napkins.
