This licensed William Morris design was first produced in 1876. The design is named Pimpernel after the small pimpernel flowers within the design rather than the large poppies that dominate it. Pimpernel can actually be seen in the Billiard Room at Wightwick Manor which is incredibly beautiful. This design has a grey background and cream poppies, we also have the design available in Pimpernel Green.
The 100% cotton is coated with a soft feel clear, wipe clean gloss pvc coating. The fabric is printed and pvc coated in the United Kingdom.
The pvc fabric is 140cm wide. The pattern repeat is 12cm. For the fabric length, it's sold by the half metre, so you can choose your length using the drop down above. If you order more than 0.5m in the same order, it will be sent as a continuous length.
We use high quality cotton fabric which is printed in the United Kingdom. Our printer is a long-established British printer. If you would like a closer look at any of our fabrics, you can get in touch and we’ll be happy to send you a free sample if you’re within the UK. Every single one of our William Morris designs are licensed Morris designs. We print and manufacture all of our William Morris designs to our own specifications in terms of both size and colour to best suit our products. We can keep our fabric cheaper than competitors by printing within the UK and reducing transport costs, we are exclusively an online retailer and therefore we don’t need to pay for flashy showrooms!
