Voysey table

19th May 2013

The visit to Lotherton Hall was an inspiration to me, not just because of its William Morris textiles.  There were some wonderful arts and crafts items of furniture and other artifacts.  There was a signature high-backed Charles Rennie Mackintosh chair and a lovely carved oak Voysey table that would fit perfectly in my sitting room!  Displayed hanging next to the fire place was a sweet heart-shaped copper coal shovel which would match perfectly with my furniture.
